Sasuke sat alone unsure what to do. He left Kikyo to protect her. But now he felt pain much like the night he lost his family.

Kikyo was out getting souls for get her body. She haven't see Sasuke in a few days. Kikyo saw him sitting in the moonlight.

Sasuke looked down at his sword in his hand. He scowled and tossed it away. He put his head in his hands. He muttered to himself as the pain in his heart grew. "What good is the sword if I can't use it to protect anyone. I failed my family. I failed Kikyo. But most of all, I failed myself."

Kikyo when and pick up his sword and walk behid him "Sasuke" said Kikyo as she look at him.

Sasuke looked up to see Kikyo with his sword. He then turned away and looked at the ground. "Go ahead and keep it Kikyo. I'm not worthy to even look at the damn thing. I failed everyone I ever cared about. I may as well die just to make the pain go away."

Kikyo walk in front of him "You think dead is easier it not" said Kikyo "Sasuke you didn't fail anyone" said Kikyo as she lift up his chin to look into her eyes

Sasuke just chuckled in sorrow at himself. "You say that like I actually accomplished something. Itachi is still alive. I lost your trust. Death is the next step for me. I would finally see my family again. It would end all my suffering." He looked down again.

Sasuke looked back up at Kikyo with a confused look. "Why would you do that? I doubted you when you tried to tell me about Naraku. Besides you didn't exactly say 'I love you to' when I confessed. I just don't know what to do."

Sasuke just sat there shocked. He didn't hug her back but didn't push her away. He didn't trust her and yet she said she loved him. He didn't know wether this was real or not. He looked at Kikyo with shocked eyes. "Y-Y-You do?"

Sasuke was even more shocked when she started to kiss him. He slowly started to kiss her back. He closed his eyes as he enjoyed her lips. Then he herd Itachis voice in his mind saying something he thought he never thought he hear. "You're going to be an uncle." Sasuke pulled back and gasped a little.

Sasuke panted a little as he looked at Kikyo. "I.....I herd Itachis voice. I don't if my mind is playing tricks on me or not. But I herd him say something I never thought I hear. He said I was going to be an uncle. I don't know if it's a sign or not."
