Rex felt worse than he had than he had before. He had stayed in his room, almost all night. He had searched high and low for answers about his kind, but when he finally found it, he wasn't as happy as he thought would be....he was just the opposite. He always thought people never knewing what he was meant he was special. But now he knew the truth.
His feet felt heavy as he stopped in front of Six's office, not even bothering to knock, he opened the door to see if the man who had raised him was in there. Seeing no reason to do so he walked back to his room and threw himself on the bed

Six was getting worried about Rex. His face still showed no emotion. He knocked upon the teenager's door.

Hearing the knock on the door, Rex rose, despite feeling so miserable. He answered and found himself with the man he wanted to talk to. He stared at Six for awhile before speaking. "You...you weren't in your office when i came...so i came here." he muttered. "I know i missed class so if yuo want to scold me...you should get it over with."

"Rex, I'm not going to scold you. I know that you've been going through some troubles." said Six. "I just came up here to check."

Rex looked up at Six from his saddened state. "Six..." he hestitated. "Did i do something wrong? Did i do something to make the world hate me? Have i done something that would make you mad at me?" it was a very out of the blue question, especially for someone like Rex to ask. But the boy was clearly jumpy and nervous. The pain in his eyes was getting worse even if Rex couldn't see that.

"No you personaly didn't." said Six stoically. He was hesitant, but by the way the boy asked. "But your species. Let's just say it's not like the others and people fear what is different from them, even supernaturals."

Rex didn't say anything for a moment, before pulling out the book and looking at it. It was odd and burned but none of the pages have been ruined. "I thought...that maybe that since there were no books on Drangels...I thought I was something special..." he gave a tiny sad laugh. "I guess i was wrong about that too, since i found this."

Six looked at the book for five minutes and then spoke after taking a deep breath. "Rex, we each have our own paths to follow. You can't let what you are and the past get to you. I don't want to see you become me. Yet the paths you choose are your own and you have to follow them."

Rex didn't say anything before setting the book down on his desk. "You knew all along didn't you?" he asked still not facing Six. "You knew what I was right when you first found me didn't you?" his voice was colder. "You knew all along, for so many years..." his fist slammed down on the desk, he ignored the pain that was coming from it. "Is that wrong Six? Did you or did you not know what I was?!"

"....you knew all along..." he muttered again.

"I knew. Yes I knew. Alright. It's sort of my duty to protect all the rare species in Shamballa. Your one of them. Musa's one of them. It's my job. Emotions only get in the way and yet I wanted to protect you. I wanted people not to hurt you. Alright." said Six stoically.

"Your duty?!" Rex looked up a bit with a glare. "YOUR DUTY is to lie to me?!" he asked, his voice raising. "You told me that there was nothing around about my kind, that i was special. I was unique. That because i was so rare no one knew about me. You said there were no books in the library about me!" he crossed his arms. "Then what the heck is this?!" he asked angrily pointing to the book. "I trusted everything you said, ever since i was little, and you lied to me?! WHY?!"

"I didn't want you to know the truth. You weren't ready for it. My duty is to protect you at any costs, even if that means holding back the truth." said Six stoically.

"Six, i have been looking for the truth for 10 years. Ten years!" Rex replied. "I have always thought that maybe it was just a mistake. You know that i was just the first one around and you never heard of them. But clearly this book says otherwise." he frowned. "I'm not even a supernatural, I'm just a man-made mutant. Made of angel blood and demon blood put in a human body." he looked at Six again. "I'm not even worth being here. I'm nothing but a freak." he couldn't take it anymore. "I...I'm a half-breed!"

Six looked at the teenager and sighed. He said nothing to the teenager. He knew what Rex was from the book. He knew that he just made a mess of things.
