It was sunset. Circe watched as the sun started to head down. Her amulet started to glow again and once again she was in child form. It started to rain. Circe put on her cloak and headed for a cave. Now she was stuck in the cave until morning. She started looking at the necklace Kleiss had given to her. It was actually very pretty. She then looked outside and watched the rain.

Devlin had finally managed to get the thoughts of Mei and his father out of his head. It was strange to think that he was starting to fall for a new comer. He had promised himself not to make any attactments if he had gotten caught. He was nervous of what would happen. He stumbled into the forest, seeing the girl from before.

Circe looked at the ground thinking of Rex. She was falling hard for that drangle and she felt like he understood her, but what would be the costs. She started a little star in her hands to create light. It was still raining on the outside. She looked outside again and saw Ethan's little boy. She didn't say a word afraid to. She pulled off her hood and showed her eyes. Hoping that he would remember her.

"Circe..." Devlin asked nervously. "is that you?" he asked approaching the hooded figure. He was really hoping that it was not a demon again. He couldn't face that by himself. Not like this.

"Yeah, it's me. I'm glad you remember me, Devlin." said Circe sweetly looking at Devlin.

"I don't think i could forget you. Besides Greed, you are the only one that doesn't hate my guts." Devlin replied rubbing his shoulder with a off-smile. It felt good to see Circe here, but why was she? Clearly his father needed her too, what else could the explination be?

Circe smiled and looked at her wings again. Her wings hurt more in the rain then they did on normal days. She only remembered glimpses of Greed.

"Are you here because of Dad's stupid legend of the great and powerful items that can make him more powerful than a god?" Devlin asked. He normally wouldn't have asked, nor known about the subject, but he got more of a rebellious side and often snuck into his father's study without him knowing about it.

"Well yes and no. I don't answer to Ethan. I still only answer to Kleiss. He sent me out here to look for the Blade of the Immortals, but to mostly just spy on some guy named Six and Dragon's Wing High." said Circe. She wasn't scared to tell Devlin about why she was here. She knew that she could trust the boy.

"Six?" Devlin asked with a confused look. "You mean the guy with the shades? Kind of moody, needs to take a few chill-pills, too serious for his own good?"

Circe put her hand to her mouth and giggled a little light giggle. "I guess, I haven't really had a chance to look for the guy. Kleiss never told me what he looked like."

"Yeah, well i see him and the nurse from Star Moon named Holiday talking alot. I think she likes him." Devlin said with a tiny smile. "But I wouldn't know, since i normally just stay out of the way..."

"Thanks for the info." said Circe lightly. "I try to as well, I don't know why Kleiss or even your father need spys. Do you?" She was going to do her job and do it faithfully, but ever since she started to meet some people. She felt less alone in the world, I guess Rex was to thank for that.

Devlin sighed and shook his head. "I don't know, i don't even know what these objects are meant to look like. I just know that dad wants them otherwise well, let's just say I am not going to be allowed in the world anymore."

Circe looked at Devlin. She was sorry that she said that. "Sorry Devlin. I should have kept my big mouth shut. I'm sorry for what happened." It wasn't her fault and she knew it wasn't, but still she felt sorry for Devlin. She really did love the little boy. She was like her family. The only one she had ever known.
